Betty Mae Miller's Obituary
Betty Mae Miller (Greenlee), aged 78, passed away on September 13, 2024, in Fayetteville, AR. Born on May 10, 1946, in Rogers, AR, Betty was known for her kind, caring, and honest demeanor, coupled with her sense of humor and a strong work ethic.
Betty's career began at Herman's Rib House, where she met her husband, Allan L. Miller. She later dedicated many years to Campbell Soup, adapting through various company transitions. Her commitment deepened as she retired to care for her ailing mother and husband, underscoring her dedication to family.
A woman of faith, Betty was a longstanding member of Union Church Baptist Ford in Greenland, AR. Her life reflected her beliefs, particularly in her love for helping others. She enjoyed serving in her church.
Betty cherished walking her dog, Grace, tending to her flowers in her garden, and feeding the birds. She had a special affection for hummingbirds. She treasured time spent with her family and friends, holding her grandchildren especially close to her heart.
She is survived by her stepdaughter, Michelle (Darren) Coker of Shawnee, KS; grandchildren, Canaan (Natalie) Coker and their daughter Emery of Kansas City, KS, Garrison Coker of Chicago, IL, Ariana (Trenton) Schroeder of Kansas City, KS; sister-in-laws, Carolyn (Michael Meek) Miller of Fayetteville, AR, Marilyn (Patrick Mohn) Miller of Reno, NV, Debbie Spoonts of Arlington, TX, and numerous members of the Robbins family.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Allan, after almost 50 years of marriage, her parents, Robert Greenlee and Betty Marie Robbins Long, her brother-in-law Robert Spoonts, and her mother-in-law, Rita Miller.
A Memorial Service will be held at Moore's Chapel, 206 West Center, downtown Fayetteville, AR, on November 9, 2024, at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, with Pastor Ervin Hutchins from Baptist Ford Community Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Betty requested donations be made to Union Church Baptist Ford in Greenland, AR, or any charity benefitting animals.
