Betty Marie Murphy's Obituary
Betty Marie Murphy, age 90, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023. She was born June 15, 1932, in Winslow, Arkansas to Eathel and Mary Lou Mugley Tomlinson. She was a member of Round Mountain Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth E. Murphy, sisters, Annie Friddle, Mabel Villines, Fannie Belle Tomlinson, and Jewell Stephens; two brothers, Alfred Tomlinson, and David Tomlinson.
She is survived by two sons, Danny E. Murphy and his wife Wanueta of Fayetteville and Bobby Joe Murphy and his wife Peggy of Fayetteville; one sister, Wanda Harris; three grandchildren, Amanda Speck and her husband Roger, Tera Murphy and Clint Murphy and his wife Lynn; four great-grandchildren, Weston Speck, Wyatt Speck, Walker Speck, Autumn Murphy, and Dylan Charles.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday at Moore’s Chapel with burial to follow in Round Mountain Cemetery.
