Betty Sutherlan's Obituary
Betty Sutherlan of Springdale, Arkansas, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born to James Floyd Ward and Elizabeth Magdalene “Maggie” Hollowell Ward on March 25, 1940.
She was co-owner and operator of Joe’s Market since 1965 in Springdale and a member of Abundant Life Pentecostal Church of God in Springdale.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Sutherlan of Springdale; her son, Rick Sutherlan and wife Donna of Springdale; her daughters, Renee McCown and Rachelle Allen and husband Randy, both of Springdale, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor C.H. Doss and Pastor Billy Burks officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas.
