Neeley Williams (Daughter/Friend)
I cannot truly express to you all, what your words of affection and comfort have meant to us. It is so wonderful to hear that she touched your lives in some special way, like she has ours. What a wonderful, precious, beautiful lady (inside & out) she was to us. We thank God for her wonderful friends like you all. We are touched by each of your words, and we thank you for the friendship you had with our mom.
I feel comfort in knowing she had 3 1/2 yrs. Spending time w/her friends, family and of cource her grandchildren (that meant the world to her) with no medicine, chemo, hospital beds, tubes or machines. Not once did she ever complain. Her faith was so amazing! I personally don't think that any medical procedures at that point would have prolonged her life, probally even could have very possibally shortened it. She spent everyday w/her pride & joy-her granddaughters. She got closer to God and her faith never waivered. She truly is a miracle! After alot of deep soul searching. I feel peace in my heart. For long good-byes and suffering in hospitals, etc...would have been unbearable. After having a wonderful day, the day before, she felt really good in her time with God and at peace. The next day when she fell asleep...she never woke up. For she was Healed!...w/out a doubt! What more wonderful way could we have asked for! My precious mom, fell asleep and went to be with Jesus in Heaven. So many questions & reasons why, but she knew how we all felt about her, and we knew how she felt about us. So there's no need for regrets or last good-byes. Though she will be thought of & missed by us everyday of our lives. We know she is rejoicing in Heaven awaiting all of our arrivals. So till then I keep all the wonderful memories she gave us all, so very dear and close in my heart.
