Bill L. Jones' Obituary
Bill L. Jones, 64, of Springdale, AR, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012, at his home. He was born October 5, 1947 in Kansas, to parents Imon Jones and Murtha (Lawson) Jones. He was a auto and marine mechanic, a member of Christ Lighthouse in Huntsville, AR and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.
Bill was preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce and Bobby Jones.
Bill is survived by his wife Susan L. Jones, of the home in Springdale, son Mitchell W. Jones, of Springdale, AR, daughter, Misty K. Jones, of Springdale, AR, sister, Barbara Lee and husband Bob of Prairie Grove, AR, and a grandson, Austin Jones of Springdale, AR.
Visitation is Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from 5 pm -7 pm at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Chapel, Fayetteville, AR, with Pastor Les Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery, Fayetteville, AR.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project 4899 Belfort Road Suite 300 Jacksonville, FL 32256.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
