I had the honor of serving under Lt. Col. Buckley in Panama as a First Lieutenant. He was an inspiration; he had the highest ethical standards I have ever seen, he was supportive, had a keen intellect and I never forgot him. He was an outstanding person and someone I was lucky and proud to serve under.

i knew blair and bonnie when they ran the store in hayti. blair jr was my mother's age and i knew him later in life when he returned to pemiscot county and lived for a while in hayti in the old home place. i often times went by the old home place and wondered as to where blair jr had moved off to.i am sorry to hear of his passing. his family was a pioneer of the early founding of hayti.GXJA
