Butch Thompson (Friend)
Miss Blanche was a neighbor to myself and my grandmother, Mary Ward, when we lived in Berryville. I always remember her as being so kind and always felt welcome as a child to visit. She and Grandma developed quite the friendship. It made it much easier when I and my family moved to Bella Vista knowing that she had someone close to talk to. Even after both of them moved from Berryville, they still kept in touch. I brought Grandma to Blanche's in Springdale many times until Grandma was too ill to continue to travel. Grandma passed away 6 years ago, but to the end, she always spoke fondly of Miss Blanche. Please extend my sympathies to all of the family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
