Mama dos is how I so often addressed a most remarkable, accomplished woman as was dear Blanche Berman. Who else baked kaiser rolls as a diversion? Or tomato soup studded with cloves? Orange chiffon cake from scratch! And that is a detailed recipe...set a beautiful table where every item told a story. Fed Sam tasty morsels of steak on a fork! Her door and heart were always open, ready to share opinions, a bit of gossip with no malice and endless cups of tea.Oh BB.....you will be missed and never fogotten.

Blanche Berman was our good friend. We loved to see her in the neighborhood on The Mountain. She supported the assembly and the many musical concerts held there. She was a charming, witty and gracious lady. We will miss her smiles and her wonderful spirit. Blanche lived life to the fullest. John & Sheri

To Mrs. Berman's family,It was always such a joy when I had the opportunity to visit with your sweet mother. She was such a delight. The last time she came to see me, she told me how to take care of the violet plant I had on my desk. It had never bloomed since I had received it. I followed her advise and it has beautiful blooms now. She was precious and I think of her everytime I look at my plant. I will always remember her sweet smile and her kind words.
