Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, John, and Pearl (Boyd) Sligar, his son Bobby Dean Sligar, and eight siblings. His life was marked by a deep love for family, a passion for community service, and a genuine joy in the simple pleasures of life.
A proud resident of Bentonville, Bobby was an integral part of the community for over three decades. His devotion to the Arkansas Razorbacks was well-known, and he could often be found cheering passionately for his favorite team. Beyond his love for sports, Bobby had a keen interest in deer hunting, finding solace and connection with nature.
Bobby's commitment to community service was exemplified by his active membership in Kiwanis since June 2002. He believed in giving back and making a positive impact on the lives of others. He was devoted member of First Baptist Church in Bentonville. One of his greatest joys was coaching children's sports, from Little Tigers Football to little league, where he instilled values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
