Life Legacy
The world has said goodbye to a beautiful soul. Bonnie Jean Lambeth, age 95, of Elkins, Arkansas passed away Thursday December 21, 2017 in Fayetteville. She was born May 4, 1922 in Durham, Arkansas to John Nolen and Mary Ellen Faubus Pool. She was a member of the Elkins Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Mark Wallis Lambeth and her sister, Alva Marie Goforth. She was very active in her church, a chicken and cattle farmer raising chickens for the original John Tyson Company. She loved animals, especially her little dog Trouble, and her grand kitty, Crazy Horse. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Louise Lambeth of Fayetteville; nephew, Bob Wallis and his wife Ramona of Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and many dear friends. Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Tuesday December 26, 2017 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Moore’s Chapel with burial at McCord Cemetery in Elkins, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of The Ozarks, 1020 South One Mile Road, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72704 or Elkins Church of Christ, PO Box 264, Elkins, Arkansas 72727.
