Bonnie Kay King's Obituary
Bonnie Kay King, age 73, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born on April 24, 1948, in Wesley, Arkansas, to James Clarence and Dicie (Powell) Laird. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-three years, Joseph King; three sisters, Joy Bowen, Betty White, and Cleta (Kate May) Tracy; and four brothers, Coy Laird, Ernest Laird, Paul Laird, and Leon Laird.
Bonnie was a collector by hobby. She had a home full of precious items that she enjoyed. She had a love for keeping a clean home, visiting flea markets and yard sales, sitting out and watching the deer, and site-seeing while taking drives. Most of all, she adored time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Billy Joe King and wife Angela of Springdale, Bonnie Ann Mix and husband J.D. of Rogers, Mary Main of Springdale, and Kathy Seals of Granby, Missouri; two brothers, Lonnie Laird, and Gerald Laird; sister, Ethel Hutchison; twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00am on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. A funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Thornsberry Cemetery in Springdale.
