Brayden "Ty" Lewis' Obituary
Brayden “Ty” Lewis, age 22, of Watts, Oklahoma passed away Friday July 10, 2026, with his father Jimmy Don Lewis in Waterloo, Illinois. He was born February 7, 2004, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas the son of Jimmy Don and Jill Hibbard Lewis. He was preceded by his aunt India Lewis.
Ty was the kind of person who seemed to excel at anything he set his mind to. A natural athlete, he had an incredible ability to pick up any sport and make it look effortless. Whether on the field, at work, or taking on a new challenge, his determination and strong work ethic set him apart. He believed in giving his best in everything he did and approached life with confidence, dedication, and heart.
Ty loved spending time outdoors, making memories with family and friends, and embracing every adventure that came his way. His loyalty, kindness, and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. One of his greatest joys was being an uncle to his niece, Winsley. He loved her deeply, cherished every moment he spent with her
Ty will be remembered for his infectious smile, his competitive spirit, his unwavering loyalty, and the love he had for his family. Though his life was far too short, the impact he made and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother Jill Lewis; sister Kelsey and her husband Chance, his maternal grandmother Joyetta Smith; his maternal grandfather Charlie Hibbard and his wife Tamara; his paternal grandmother Tracy Dillard; his paternal grandfather Jimmy “Porky” David Lewis and his wife Carmen; his girlfriend Payton Honey.
A Celebration of Life for Jimmy and Ty will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday July 18, 2026, at the Kansas High School Gym 700 North Woods Ave. Kansas, Oklahoma 74347.
