Brenda Sue Martin's Obituary
Brenda Sue Williams Martin, age 59, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023. She was born October 12, 1963, in Ozark, Arkansas to Raymond and Regina (Hardcastle) Williams. She is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Irvin and Edna Williams and maternal grandparents Odys and Jewel Hardcastle. Brenda became a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville, AR as a young girl and turned to her faith throughout her entire life.
Brenda attended Hartman High School in Hartman, AR. Brenda worked in hospitality and property management in Phoenix, AZ and attended cosmetology school in Fayetteville, AR. Brenda was naturally gifted and talented in many ways. She excelled in gymnastics, tap dancing and roller skating as a young girl. Brenda was also a talented self-taught artist and creative writer. Her love of the outdoors came from many blessed summers spent with her family fishing, camping, water skiing and snow skiing in Arkansas and Arizona. She especially enjoyed hiking in the Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction, AZ where she fell in love with the dessert and the mountains of Arizona. Brenda had a kind loving spirit and was dearly loved by everyone who knew her.
Brenda is survived by the pride and joy of her life, her daughters; Cheyenne Varnell of Fayetteville, Emma Martin of Fayetteville and Jocelyn Martin of Rogers. Her loving parents Raymond and Regina Hardcastle Williams of Alma, AR, brother Kevin Williams and wife Sara of Haratio, AR, sister Teresa Williams Conquest and husband Mike of Lamar, AR. Five nieces, two grandnieces and six grandnephews. Aunts Becky (Guy) Cox of Ogden, Utah, Ruth Lipe (John) of Ozark, AR, Barbara (Clayton) Tompkins of Ozark, uncles Larry Hardcastle of Pottsville, AR and Robert (Shirley) Williams of Grass Valley, CA. She also leaves behind her devoted partner and best friend Randy Harr of Rogers, AR.
A celebration of life will be held at her favorite childhood place, Horsehead Lake on Saturday June 3, 2023, at 10:00 AM with Bro. Steve Jacobs officiating. A visitation will follow service. Flowers and or food for any family member may be sent to Regina Williams 418 Maple Shade Road, Alma, AR 72921.
