Brian Thomas Lawler's Obituary
Brian Thomas Lawler, 38, of Fayetteville, AR, passed away Monday, October 17, 2011 in Fayetteville. He was born June 28, 1973 in Milwaukee, WI to Dennis Michael Lawler and Suzanne Lynn (Vallier) Lawler.
He was a category sales representative for Kimberly Clark.
Brian was a loving and completely devoted father whose life revolved around his three children. He was an avid competitive bicyclist, having successfully raced in Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana, and Wisconsin. He ran track in college and was on the 1994 NCAA championship team at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.
His strong faith in Jesus led him to faithfully attend bible school and Sunday worship at Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville with his children and his fiancé, Kori Hall.
He is survived by his children, Gwen, Keira, and Owen Lawler of Fayetteville, AR; his fiancé, Kori Michelle Hall and her daughter, Lila of Fayetteville, AR; his parents, Dennis and Sue Lawler of Fayetteville, AR; one brother, David Lawler and his wife, OraLee of New York, New York; one sister, Julie Lawler Sanchez and her husband, Kevin and their daughter, Mariah of Springfield, MO; his maternal grandmother, Marjorie Vallier of Brookfield, WI; his godparents, Jeanne and Bill Lange of New Berlin, WI; his cousins, Eric Lange of New Berlin, WI, and Andy Lange of Miami Shores, FL, and numerous aunts, uncles and additional cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2011 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville, AR.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, October 24, 2011 at Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville with Reverend J. Anthony Holifield officiating. Burial will be in Brookfield, WI.
Pallbearers will be David Lawler, Bob Newell, Ben Upchurch, Jake Elson, Bruce Dunn, and Bill Spaine.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brian Thomas Lawler Children’s Educational Fund, A/C 46575557 in care of the Arvest Bank, 1627 E. Joyce Avenue, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
