Brittney Anne Skinner's Obituary
Brittney Anne Skinner-Hampton, age 37, died tragically on November 7, 2017, in West Fork. She was born on December 11, 1979. She was the second of three daughters to Cynthia Farnam and James Skinner, Jr. At her birth, she weighed 7 lbs 13 oz and was “all eyes.” She loved and good-naturedly tormented her sisters in equal measure, and will be forever beloved for both her boisterous laughter and her gentle kindness. She dedicated herself to her children and her family and loved fiercely and without reservation. She strove to be kind and generous throughout her life, even when it was difficult to do so. At her passing, she was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, choir and band mom, and friend. To know her was to love her. We will hear her voice come through the music, and hold it near as though it were our own. She is survived by her sons, Cassidy and Samuel Hampton of the home; her father, James Skinner and his wife Nell of Westville, Oklahoma; her mother, Cyndi Farnam and her husband Tony of West Fork; her sisters, Courtney Burnett of Fayetteville, Mackenzie Gould of Mountainburg, and stepsister Kelly Britton of Fayetteville; her maternal grandmother, Dolores Moellers; and a nephew, six nieces, and loving family and friends too numerous to name, though she loved them all entirely. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Robert Moellers; paternal grandmother, Margaret Elaine Skinner; and paternal grandfather, James Skinner Sr. Brittney’s life will be memorialized at 12:00PM on Monday, November 13, 2017, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home located at 4520 N Crossover Road in Fayetteville.
