Bryon Odell Miracle's Obituary
Bryon Odell Miracle, a loving father, brother, and friend, passed away on October 5, 2023, at his home in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at the age of 57. Bryon was born on November 30, 1965, in Grand Junction, Colorado, to his parents, Claude and Georgia (Patterson) Miracle.
Bryon's journey through life was one marked by a passion for being a father, leading people to Christ, maintaining his excellent salesmanship, and so much more.
He graduated from Oral Roberts University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and telecommunications. His proudest achievement, aside from being a father, was his twenty plus years as a traveling evangelist.
Beyond his professional life, Bryon was a man of many interests and talents. He was an avid and unwavering fan of Oklahoma Sooners sports. His affinity for the game was infectious! Any time The Sooners would score, he would immediately send a “BOOMER!” text to his children, no matter what. Of course their response in return was always “SOONER!” He rarely missed a game and found so much joy in each victory.
Bryon had a flair for the culinary arts and could often be found watching the Food Network, learning as much as he could about cooking techniques, flavor combinations, and getting ideas for his next meal. Perhaps one of Bryon's most endearing talents was his ability to always have a dad joke (or five) up his sleeve. Although dad jokes aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, his jokes never failed to bring a smile every time he told one. His humor was a constant source of laughter and warmth for those around him. His cat, Finlay Aidan, was such a bright spot in his life throughout his last several years; Finlay was his “buddy”, his best friend, his heart. Bryon's faith was the foundation of his life, providing him with strength and guidance throughout his journey.
Bryon was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Claude and Georgia Miracle. He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories cherished by his son, Bryce Miracle, and his wife Linda; his daughter, Emily Jordan, and her husband Jesse; and his granddaughter, Olivia Jordan. He is also survived by his siblings, Bill Miracle, Carolyn (Miracle) Thompson, and Carlton Miracle, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 13, 2023, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. To sign the online guestbook, please visit www.bernafuneralhomes.com.
Bryon Odell Miracle will be remembered for his massive heart, his ability to always show up in a time of crisis, his wit, his steadfastness to his faith, and his unwavering devotion to his children. His absence leaves a void in our lives, one that will never be filled, but the love and memories he shared with us will forever fill our hearts. May he rest in peace, and may his spirit continue to shine brightly in our hearts and lives.
