Buster Frank Carlisle's Obituary
Buster Frank "Buck" Carlisle, 82 of West Fork, AR longtime resident of Greenland, AR passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2006 in Fayetteville, AR. He was born March 17, 1924 in Greenland, AR to Grey and Ruth (Meadows) Carlisle.
He retired from Campbell's Soup Company He worked for CC Camp at Devil's Den before enlisting in the Navy during World War II. He served on the USS Shamrock Bay and served in three engagements.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sarah Jane Rhoades Carlisle, one brother, Hank Carlisle of Greenland, one sister Rose Maddan of Greenland, a grandson Wade Caughman.
He is survived by one daughter, Mabelee Carlisle Caughman and husband David of West Fork, AR, two step-sons, Rayburn Myers and wife June and Jim Myers and wife Janis both of Weddington community, two brothers, Jack Carlisle and wife Betty of Fayetteville, AR, Carl Carlisle and wife Helen of Fayetteville, AR, four sisters, Louise Paul of Fayetteville, AR, Wanda Couch and husband Carl of Fayetteville, AR, Daisy Potter and husband Ervin of Greenland, AR, Shirley Franklin of West Fork, AR, 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, November 25, 2006 in Baptist Ford Cemetery in Greenland, AR.
Memorial may be made to the Baptist Ford Cemetery Association.
