Caden Matthew Blaschke's Obituary
Caden Matthew Blaschke, age 21, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday August 1, 2021, in Fayetteville. He was born January 31, 2000, in Fayetteville the son of Jeff and Kristi Hixson Blaschke.
Caden was a bright, intelligent, compassionate, driven, faithful, gift from God that was a light that warmed the hearts of everyone that knew him. Caden loved working with kids, and was a youth leader, swim coach, camp counselor, and volunteered with kids at an after-school program. One of his passions was helping others through mission trips, including one to Mexico building houses and ministering to the children. Caden had a special gift of sharing God’s word and love with others. His smile was the most infectious and warming to the souls of those around him. The impact he left on others will live on.
Caden was a student at the University of Arkansas majoring in social work. He graduated with Distinguished honors from Fayetteville High School in 2018, where he was a member of the FHS swim team, National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, and Dawg Crew.
Caden is survived by his parents, a brother Mason Andrew Blaschke of Dallas, TX and a sister, Emily Brooke Blaschke of Fayetteville. Grandparents, Ron and Carol Blaschke of Subiaco and James and Peggy Hixson of Paris.
Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Thursday August 5, 2021, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at Christian Life Cathedral Friday August 6, 2021, at 11:00 am.
In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to The Trevor Project, NAMI, or GLSEN.
