I just found the obituary for Candy. She was a childhood friend in elementary school in Springdale, and we kept in touch after she transferred to Fayetteville. Many good memories. Candy had a larger than life personality. My condolences to all family-human and fur babies.

We met at the hospital and felt we were on the way to a great friendship. I am very sorry at your passing.
My husband and I were married in front of the Peace Fountain on the UA campus on a perfectly beautiful Saturday afternoon in October, 2009. But, to make it even better, we were honored to have Justice Candy Clark to officiate. These were some of her words: Will you love each other, comfort each other, share with each other, and together work to build a stronger and more loving relationship with each other? It is my sincere hope your love for one another will continue to grow stronger with each passing day. May that love help you enjoy the good times and survive the challenges we will all face. Through that love, may your relationship continue to grow, making your marriage strong and secure.
Ms. Clark, thank you for everything you did for us, the community of Fayetteville and our beloved animal friends. Thank you for standing as a strong role model for those trying to find their way. Our hearts are broken and you will be terribly missed. But, oh how fortunate for us all that we had you with us and for us for as long as we did. You were perfectly beautiful.

Candy was a larger than life personality and always was .....even in Jr. High! She could always make me laugh, even in dark times! We spent MANY hours together traveling with the debate team in high school, and man could Candy debate! She put her intellect and debate skills to good use by getting into local politics! I was so happy for her when she found the love of her life, Teddy! She truly felt love and peace with Teddy! Candy was taken from us too soon. The world is just a little bit darker without Candy’s light shining! RIP my dear friend!💕
Fierce and fabulous, Candy Clark was an unstoppable force and made an unforgettable impact on my life. I am grateful she was a part of my life and will carry her in my heart always.
I worked for C&C for a short time and it was a good company to work for. Fayetteville has lost a treasure and will miss her greatly. My sympathies to her family and friends.
