Carl Kenneth Patrick's Obituary
Carl Kenneth Patrick, aged 80 years,went to his eternal home Friday, February 7, 2014 in Bentonville, Arkansas. Born the son of Urbit Ralphus Patrick and Pansy Mae Brooks Patrick on October 13, 1933, he was the younger of two children. His older sister, Carles Nixon, and his parents have preceded him in death.
After military service in the Navy, he was married to Jennie Cathleen Rowland on July 31, 1954. In his life, careers included heavy equipment operator, bread route salesman and a 25 plus year employee of the Standard Register Company.
Fifty Nine years of marriage provided 4 sons; Mike of Anderson, MO. Lynn of Farmington, Scott of Fayetteville and Andy of Fayetteville; along with 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was also the uncle of 2 nephews, Larry Nixon of Fayetteville and Charles “Buzz” Nixon also of Fayetteville who preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be 11:00AM, Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Graveside will be at Hester Cemetery at Baldwin, AR.
The family will receive friends from 10:00AM till service time on Saturday.
Pallbearers will be: Thomas Patrick, James Patrick, Mike Turner, Robert Headrick, Ivan Huffmaster, Jr., Cody Shackelford, Dewey Larson, Phillip Rukgaber.
