Carl Overstreet Jr.'s Obituary
Carl Overstreet Jr., age 76, of Nashville, Tennessee, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 9, 2026. He was born on April 17, 1949, to Maggie and Carl Overstreet Sr.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents; his older brother, Lee Overstreet; and his older sister, Sarah Forte.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Marilyn Elaine Overstreet; his beloved children, Ryan and Lori; and his cherished grandchildren, Hailey, Harrison, Tatum, Eli, and Nathaniel. He is also survived by his faithful eldest brother, Bobby Overstreet, and many loving nieces and nephews who will dearly miss him.
Carl enriched the lives of those around him through his love of music, golf, football, chess, animals and literature. More than his hobbies, he will be remembered for the way he loved his family—with playful humor and quiet devotion.
