Carol Lavon Talley's Obituary
Carol Lavon Talley, age 74, of Winslow, died Monday, July 7, 2014 at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born January 3, 1940 in Winslow, Arkansas, the daughter of Elmer and Mable Smith Griffith. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Talley and five brothers and sisters.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Donald “Pee Wee” Talley; a son, Roger Talley and wife Ann of Winslow; two daughters, Myra Collins and husband John of West Fork and Tonya Morris and husband Marvin of Jane, Missouri; two brothers and two sisters; seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday at Unity Covenant Church in West Fork, followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Winslow, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
