Carol Nancy Osburn, a devoted wife, loving stepmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2023, in Rogers, Arkansas, at the age of 83. She was born on December 9, 1939, in Canton, Ohio, to proud parents Ora Nelson and Lucy Estella Liller Baker who instilled in her a strong sense of faith and love for family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Bob Baker.
Carol was a faithful member of the Southern Baptist faith, finding comfort and strength in her beliefs throughout her life. She was a shining example of kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith, touching the lives of those around her with her warm smile and gentle spirit.
Among her many passions in life, Carol found great joy in the art of quilting. Her skilled hands brought beautiful and intricate designs to life, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and comfort in the form of her handmade quilts that will continue to embrace her loved ones for generations to come. Another passion of hers was exploring the world, and she cherished her trips to Hawaii, where she immersed herself in the beauty of nature and created cherished memories with her husband.
Carol's greatest source of pride and joy was her 43-year-long marriage to her beloved husband, Elza Osburn. Their love was a testament to commitment, friendship, and unwavering support for one another. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared experiences, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing them as a couple.
Carol leaves behind a lasting impact on her family, including her husband, Elza Osburn, who will forever hold her memory close to his heart. Her memory will also be cherished by her stepchildren, grandchildren, extended family, and numerous friends, all of whom were touched by her loving presence and genuine kindness.
A memorial service celebrating Carol's life will take place at 9:00 am, Monday July 31 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Rogers where we will remember and honor the beautiful life she led. The entombment will be held at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens, where she will find eternal rest surrounded by the peace she so greatly deserves.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Carol's memory to a charitable organization close to your heart, reflecting her selfless nature and passion for helping others.
