Carolyn Bennett's Obituary
Carolyn Harriman Bennett, age 74, of Springdale, died Sunday, April 2, 2017 in Springdale. She was born September 12, 1942 in Elm Springs, Arkansas, the daughter of Harry Julian and Thelma Dean Collins Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Roy Lynn Harriman and a brother and sister. She retired as a medical coder for Washington Regional Medical Center and was a member of Westside Free Will Baptist Church in Springdale. She is survived by her husband, James K. “Curly” Bennett; two sons, Terry Harriman and his wife Monique of Japton and Trent Harriman and his wife Tammy of Elkins; five step-children, Katrina Meeks and her husband Jim of Springdale, Connie Moore and her husband Tim of Berryville, Lee Bennett and his wife Virlene of Lowell, Robert Bennett and his wife Lynette of Springdale and Teri Jo Bohannon and her husband Tim of Springdale; a brother, Don Martin of Elm Springs; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; fifteen step-grandchildren and fourteen step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 6 at Westside Free Will Baptist Church followed by burial at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale, under the director of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
