Carolyn Kendall's Obituary
On April 20, 2021, Carolyn Kendall, loving wife and mother, passed away at
age 76 due to complications from Parkinson's. Carolyn was born in Alice, TX to Thomas and Hulda West. On June 21, 1969, she married Toby Kendall. They had one son, Kevin Kendall, and remained married for 52 years until the time of his death on December 29, 2020.
Carolyn lived most of her life in South Texas in Mathis, Corpus Christi,
Victoria, and Portland. In 2003 Carolyn and Toby moved to Keller (North TX) to be near their son and his family. In 2011 Kevin's family moved to
Northwest Arkansas where she and Toby moved in August of 2016.
Beyond her family the love of her live was her lord and savior Jesus Christ. She was a very active member of the Lutheran Church with her main two parishes being St. Stephen in Portland and New Hope in Keller.
She is survived by her son Kevin Kendall, grandson Tommy Kendall, and sister Shirley Sliger. A funeral service was held at Fayetteville National Cemetery on April 26, 2021. The family request in lieu of gifts or flowers a donation would be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation in her memory to help make Parkinson's a disease of the past. (https://www.michaeljfox.org/)
