Carolyn Jean Pense's Obituary
Carolyn Jean Pense, of Farmington, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 75 years old. She was born on January 6, 1948, in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Frank Alvin and Mary (Terry) Cunningham. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Clodene Thomas, and brother Jackie Cunningham.
Carolyn was a member of 1st Assembly of God Church in Fayetteville. Carolyn loved her grandchildren dearly and made many beautiful crochet and embroidery blankets for them when they were little. They will be cherished and passed down to the next generation. When asked what they remember most about their grandmother it was the summers spent together driving around town to garage sales, Dollar Tree visits and a daily trip to McDonald’s for a McFlurry!
Carolyn is survived by her husband George D. Pense; sons Travis Pense and Carl Franklin Pense; Grandchildren Camden Pense, Sheriden Pense, Karlee Pense, and Kaedan Pense; great-grandchild Chase Pense; and many other family members, friends, and loved ones.
A Graveside service will take place on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Farmington Cemetery at 10:00AM, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
