Carolyn Sue Spillers' Obituary
Carolyn Sue Spillers, age 78, passed away Saturday April 5, 2025 in Fayetteville. She was born July 5, 1946 in the Drakes Creek Community to Wayne and Violet Boyd. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Linda Jones and Peggy Williams; three brothers, Sammy Boyd, Ronald (Shorty) Boyd, Jimmy Boyd and her granddaughter, Angela McIver. Her passion and career was nursing. She loved taking care of others and cared deeply for her patients.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jerry Spillers; two daughters, Anita Lowry of West Fork and Janice Harrison and her husband Steve of West Fork; brother, Jerry Boyd and his wife Susan of West Fork; five grandchildren, Drew Wasson and his wife Julie, Brooke Lowry, Dusty McIver, Jeremy Harrison and his wife Shannon, Stephanie Sims and her husband David; sixteen great grandchildren, Noah, Autumn, Emagen, Cameron, Nathan, Jordyn, Wyatt, Ramona, McKenna, Colby, Evan, Arthur, Jeanie, Sophie, Nixon and Elliana.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Thursday April 10, 2025 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Friday at Moore’s Chapel with burial to follow in West Fork Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
