Carolynn Sue Adams' Obituary
Carolynn Sue Adams, age 77, passed away with family by her side on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born on September 15, 1943, in Los Angeles, California, to Earl and Phyllis E. (Moore) Dilley. She is preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather who raised her, Bernard Grahek; and brother, Patrick Grahek.
Carolynn first and foremost loved God. Her favorite hymn was Amazing Grace. She worked for Southern California Edison as an executive for twenty-five years. Her mottos were, “Success is the best revenge” and “Eat your ‘elephant’ one bite at a time”. Her favorite pastimes were traveling, growing roses and day lilies, dancing, singing, playing the piano, playing online games and bunco with her family and friends. She was always cheerful and had the warmest smile.
She is survived by her loving husband of thirty years, Ron Adams, at home; her children Deena Waddelow (Wade) of Apple Valley, California, David Kambarian (Tina) of Claremont, California, Katie Canaday (Matt) of Springdale, Arkansas, Jackie Sims of Lincoln, Arkansas, and Jim Sims (Melisa) of Cypress, California; sister, Sherry DiGregorio; brother, Mike Grahek (Darcy) of Bandon, Oregon; grandchildren, Caitlynn Waddelow, Heather Butler (Eric), Amy Musselman (Greg), Alicia Floyd, Veronica Adams, Samantha Bush, Abbey Canaday, Dakota Canaday (Desirea), Trevor Grossman (Lauren); seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation and arrangements are under the care of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Her final resting place will be Fayetteville National Cemetery.
