Celesta Emmaline Willkie's Obituary
Mrs. Celesta Emmaline "Lettie" Willkie, 95 of Winslow, Arkansas passed away Thursday, February 24, 2005 in Fayetteville, AR. She was born April 15, 1909 in Skylite, Arkansas to Joseph B. and Sarah Emmaline (Hooten) Rose.
She was a homemaker, lifelong resident of Winslow, Arkansas, member of the Winslow Assembly of God Church, and was a member of the V.F.W. World War II Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by one son, Harold Miller of Winslow, Arkansas, one step son, Buck Goolsby of Bochito, Oklahoma, three daughters, Joyce Barker, Martha Hamilton, of Winslow, Betty Drain of Fayetteville, fourteen grandchildren, thirty five great grandchildren, eleven great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 25, 2005 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 26, 2005 at Winslow Assembly of God Church with Rev. Brian Bowerman officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery near Winslow, AR.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Larry Barker, Randall Barker, Wendell Reed, Phillip Reed, Doug Reed, and David Drain.
