Celia V. Caballero's Obituary
Celia V. Caballero, age 84, passed away on January 22, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. She was born on April 23, 1935, in Joconoxtle, Jalisco, Mexico, to Juan and Maria del Refugio Lopez Villarruel. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Alfredo Caballero, Sr.; and her son, Alfredo Caballero, Jr.
Celia was very outgoing in her younger years she took great pride in her appearance. She enjoyed dressing for special occasions and looking her best. She loved participating in family game night and had a very lucky hand in the casinos. She was humorous, protective of her family and one tough cookie. She was a devoted catholic and a prayer warrior for those she loved.
She is survived by her two daughters, Bea Corral and husband Adam of Rogers and Elva Caballero of Torrance, California; three sisters, Angela Padilla, Luz Castillo and Maria Villarruel; one brother, John Villarruel; four grandchildren, Alyssa Corral, Adam Corral, Alex Corral and Daniel Garcia; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at 1416 W Poplar St, Rogers, AR 72758, with interment at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleums in Evergreen Park, Illinois at a later date.
