Chadd Joseph Brown's Obituary
Chadd Joseph Brown, age 37, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on January 23, 2025. He was born on September 25, 1987, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Chadd was a graduate of Northwest Arkansas Community College with an Associate Degree in Science and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He worked as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for Pinnacle Surgery Center.
Chadd loved the outdoors, especially longboarding, jogging, and mountain biking. He loved doing anything in the sun. Unfortunately, he injured his back a few months ago and had been unable to do these activities. Shortly before his injury he was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of skydiving which exceeded all of his expectations.
However, even in great pain, Chadd continued to work full time and go to school, making excellent grades. He was blessed to work in a wonderful place with wonderful people who encouraged him to pursue his dreams in the medical field.
Chadd was loved by his family, friends, and coworkers. He had a huge heart and a magnetic aura that drew everyone into his circle. Chadd knew how to listen and loved back. He also was quite funny, evidenced by the writing of his schoolmates throughout his school years. When being funny got Chadd in a little trouble, his bright blue eyes, and his smile, always softened the blow. Chadd could also be serious. He was serious about music, about being perfect playing the bass in the church band, but he was most serious about his love for the Lord and sharing this love with others. He loved to witness to the others who were in pain and used God’s spirit and his experiences to comfort them. Chadd truly lived the “I am Third” life.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and uncles, Matt Helfrich, and Larry Brown.
Chadd is survived by his mother, Jane Wakefield, and husband Richard; his father, Mike Brown; siblings, Justin Brown, Christopher Brown, and Cassie Brown; girlfriend, Linsay Lemke; cousin, Nicholas Brown; step siblings, Zack Wakefield, Cole Wakefield, and Cory Wakefield; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday February 3, 2025, at Trinity Fellowship Assembly of God, 1100 E. Rolling Hills Drive, Fayetteville, AR 72703. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Teen Challenge or Trinity Fellowship Venue, 1100 E. Rolling Hills Drive, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
