It is difficult to find the right words to describe my feelings of Dr Charleen Mooty. I worked with her for about 10 years at the University of Arkansas. She was warmhearted, gracious, and caring person who influenced a lot of students during her career. She faced adversity with a smile and character of a loving, Christian lady. She was a great mentor to many, including me. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers To the family for peaceful memories of this wonderful lady

Dr Mooty was my advisor in her first year at Univ of Ark and was such a great kind person!!! Always remember her as an outstanding educator! She truly cared about every student that walked thru the home economics dept.

While I a student at the UofA, I was a student worker for the Home Economics Department Head, Dr. Sara Jordan, and ran errands between the Dr. Jordan’s office and the AG Dean’s office all the time. Dr. Mooty always made time for me, answered lots of questions, and she referred me to Donna Graham for help when I needed to find direction with a future career and an internship. She pointed me the right way!

So sorry to hear about Dr. Mooty. Great teacher and role model for those of us at Judson. If you had the pleasure of having her as your teacher then you were a better person because she encouraged you to be your best. Words can not express how much Charlene meant to me. I looked so forward to every visit when she and Bob would come to Mermaids and ask for me. I wanted so much to see her again when we were able to open back.....
My thoughts and prayers are with you Bob and all of the family. I loved her very much and I will miss her terribly. 😢❤️
