Charles C. Houghland's Obituary
Charles C. Houghland, 77 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2010 in Springdale, AR. He was born September 12, 1933 in Hammon, Oklahoma to Clyde Bennett and Lillie Belle Boulware Houghland.
He was a self-employed property manager and a long time member and deacon of Greenland Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Houghland of the home, two sons, Charles C. Houghland, Jr. of Fayetteville and Mitchel A. Shockley of Courdalane, Idaho, 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 29, 2010 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the Greenland Freewill Baptist Church with Brother Lester Shadrick officiating. Burial will follow at Brentwood Cemetery.
