Rosie, We are so sorry for your loss, Chuck will always be in our memory, and his sister Toby too. When we moved across the street from you, you and your family was the first to welcome us into the neighborhood and everytime we talk you made me feel like we have known each other a life time, Chuck was a WONDERFUL person..we will miss seeing him out in the yard working...love you always.. Rosie,We did not get the message of Chuck's passing until this morning and we are so sorry for your loss and so disappointed that we missed his service. Coincidentally, on Friday Earlene was considering washing windows around the house and I reminded her of an old recipe of water and vinegar as a glass cleaning solution which I learned from Chuck at the Burger Broil many years ago! We were fortunate to be able to call Chuck's family our friends. Having worked with Chuck and Bailey Wright, we became friends with the entire family including his mom and dad, as they delivered tomatoes for our "Colonel Burgers" at the KFC Burger Broil. I don't know Chuck and Rose personally, but I have been aware of them from seeing their truck adorned with flags and roses most of my life. I remember the older truck they had when they owned the store and then a much newer truck after the store closed. I was happy when I started seeing that familiar truck here in Farmington, at local yard sales and at Wal-mart. My son and I would see it and say, Chuck and Rose are here!" I am sorry for your loss. I will miss seeing that truck pull up to a yard sale and see Rose hop out while Chuck sits in the truck. My thoughts are with you and your family, Rose. Even though we don't "know" you, we feel like we know you very well.
Rosie and family, I am so sorry to hear of Chucks passing. I just remember the good old day when the whole family was in Lincoln , Mom ,Dad Toby and husband.You have my sincere thoughts and prayers.
