Charles E. Rogers' Obituary
Mr. Charles "Chuck" Rogers, 74 of Springdale, AR passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2003 in his home. He was born August 4, 1928 in Chester, West Virginia to Cecil West and Luna (Edge) Rogers.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a tool machinist.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis, three sons; Howard Beavers of Rogers, AR, Bobby Beavers of Bentonville, AR, Charles Rogers of Mingo Junction, OH, four daughters; Linda Keener of Mingo Junction, OH, Brenda Brown of Brilliant, OH, Martha Tanner of Steubenville, OH, Beverly Ross of Brilliant, OH, two brothers; Fred W. Rogers of Steubenville, OH, Marion W. Rogers of Bloomingdale, OH, four sisters; Ida Mae Frey and Clara R. Morris both of Steubenville, OH, Shirley J. Solter of Scio, OH, Luna Grace Zink of Phoenixville, PA, nineteen grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 15, 2003 from noon until 9:00 PM with the family present to greet friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, May 16, 2003 at 2:30 PM in the National Cemetery in Fayetteville with Rev. Bob Fant officiating.
Memorials may be made to Washington Regional Hospice.
