Charles A. Helgeson's Obituary
Charles A. Helgeson, age 91, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on October 31, 2023, at his home in Fayetteville. He was born March 29, 1932, in Wahpeton, North Dakota, to Adolph Helgeson and Agatha Shuffletowski Helgeson.
Charles graduated from Ballard High School in Seattle, Washington. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Charles married Joanne Hassler on December 22, 1962, in Seattle. He worked many years in sales. Charles and Joanne were longtime residents of Little Rock, and members of First Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne Helgeson; three daughters, Cheryl Helgeson Corr, Cynthia (Jamie) Lueders, and Carrie Nelms. Charles is also survived by six grandchildren, Olivia (Luke) Garwood, Emma Corr, Hannah (Deven) Davis, Grace Lueders, Grant Southerland, and Lily Nelms.
