Charlie and Joanne took me with them every month to Scottish Society meetings and we attended annual Burns Night dinners together. Also went to the Opera performances at Eureka Springs. Charlie had been a good friend of my late husband back in Law School together. Both of the Stewarts were such kind friends to me through the years....I loved them dearly.

I was privileged to be invited a couple of years ago to join that Friday night poker game. It became apparent that I was asked to join so that everyone, including Charlie, could make up for what Charlie won from everyone at the table. I never heard him say a bad thing or rumor about anyone. I doubt that he could if he wanted to. He and all of his family are fine people, and we will all miss Charlie.
