Biography
Charles W. Harris, 84 of Elkins, Arkansas died Thursday, April 26, 2012 at his home in Elkins. He was born June 18, 1927 the son of Bryan Harris and Pearl Long Harris in Durham, AR
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Debbie Harris and 2 grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Wanda Harris of the home; 5 sons, Connie Harris of Durham, Donnie Harris of Modesto, CA, Mike Harris of Hazel Valley, AR, Dennis Stephenson of Kansas City, MO, John Cooksey of Springdale; 4 daughters, Jena Wilson of Fayetteville, Christie Grogan of Fayetteville, Debbie Bradford of Chanute, Kansas, Sharon Sutton of Tahlequah, OK; 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and his faithful dog, Boots.
Funeral service will be 10AM, Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Moore’s Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Salem Cemetery in Elkins.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7PM on Monday at Moore’s Chapel.
