Biography
Charles William Sloan, 67 of Fayetteville, AR ascended into Heaven after takeoff on June 21, 2017. He was born January 28, 1950 in Little Rock, AR to R.L. Sloan and Arline (McCollum) Sloan.
He was with Riverwood Homes and was a member of Cross Church in Springdale, AR.
He will be greeted in Heaven by his parents and step father Bear Townsend.
He is survived by his wife Cindy Sloan, two daughters, CharLee Sloan-Rogers and husband Ethan of Clarksville, AR Cydnee Sloan of Fayetteville, AR sister, Bettye Sloan of Fayetteville, AR, brother, Robert Sloan and wife Georgia of Houston, TX, aunt, Ms. Theressa Tackett of Cabot, AR, his best friend, Carol Marshall of Fayetteville, AR, many nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as his granddoggers, Buddy, Bear, C.C., and Buck.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 23rd from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 24th at Cross Church in Springdale with Dr. Jon H. Allen officiating. Private burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Austin, AR.
Memorial contributions may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
