Charlotte Jean Jeffus' Obituary
Charlotte Jean Jeffus, 78 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012 in Springdale. She was born October 16, 1933 in Nowata, OK to Travis Daniel Powell and Holly Lucille (Darnell) Powell.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dr. Hugh M. Jeffus, one son David Austin and two sisters, Lonetta Roberts and Margaret Fisher.
She is survived by three children; Stephanie Cowan and husband David of Fayetteville, AR, Stephen Jeffus and wife Elena of Dallas, TX, Scot Jeffus and wife Sabra of Springdale, AR, and six beautiful grandchildren. “Mama Jean” brought great joy to those around her and she will be lovingly remembered by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 31st from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
A Celebration of her life will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, June 1st in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Circle of Life Hospice or the charity of your choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home and Crematory of Fayetteville.
