Oh, my goodness, I just learned of Jean's death. I had tried to call her phone number and learned it was disconnected - then called the Assisted Living where she and Hugh had moved. They hesitated and told me I needed to call the family........... today I put her name in Goggle and found her obit. I am so sorry, She was such a dear. We found each other a few years ago doing our DUNHAM genealogy - what a joy! I shall never forget when they came up to Henry Co, MO for a reunion I held - she was so tearful and happy at being able to connect with distant family.

We were so sad to learn of Jean's passing. While they lived in Texas, she was a member of our Achievers Homemaking Club, and what a treasureshe was! She was such a happy, caringtalented lady. We will never forget her. Our prayers go out to you, her family.

I had the extreme pleasure getting to know Mrs. Jeffus during her stay at HealthSouth Rehab Hospital. She was a joy to care for, always smiling, even on the days she didn't feel well, always thankful for the care received. She brightened my day and I could tell by her personality she had brightened many lives. The day she left she smiled and said, "I hope to see you soon." Well, I will see her again, one day in heaven. Dear Jeffus familyThere are not really any words we can say at times likes these. There is tremendous sadness but yet a sense of comfort knowing that Aunt Jean has truly gone to a better place and is once again reunited with family and the LORD. It was my pleasure to know her and to love her. She was so very easy to love. Only time can heal these type of wounds and it won't be overnight, it will take time, a long time. I didn't know her as well as her own family but I can honestly say she was such a sweetie. Please know that Kay and I share in your loss and thoughts, prayers and love are with each of you. I had the pleasure of knowing both Hugh and Jean when I was working at Brookstone and they were the most kind hearted people I've ever met. I know that Jean has gone to heaven now to be reunited with Hugh so I know that she is in a much better place. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
