"Well done, good and faithful servant...!" What joy and freedom she is now enjoying in the presence of her Lord, her King, and her closest Friend!Elaine's life MATTERED and made a DIFFERENCE in the Kingdom of God--as any of us who have known her can attest. On a personal note, Elaine was the embodiment of unconditional love and faithful support for decades. See was unwavering in her graciousness and kindness--regardless of whether or not it was merited. Frankly, I don't even think she knew the meaning of the words, "resentment" or "grudge!" A mighty woman of faith and exuberant WORSHIPER of God, she will remain in my heart for the rest of my days on this earth, until I see her again. What a day of rejoicing that will be! Hallelujah! "Meanwhile, back at the ranch,"as Elaine used to say, her absence from us is tangible. We will miss her terribly--further evidence of a life well-lived. We need the Lord to help us navigate this bittersweet season we find ourselves in with her home-going--amen? And we can trust Him to do just that. "Blessed are they that mourn for they SHALL be comforted."May the God of Mercy and Father of Compassion continue to lavish all of you beloved family members and wonderful friends...even little Tippie...with COMFORT like none other. May He flood you with Peace that passes all understanding. May He meet your deepest needs. You remain in my heart and prayers.
