Mrs. Cheryl Ann Anderson's Obituary
The Anderson Family of Tontitown gratefully asks for your prayers, for the repose of the soul of Cheryl Ann Anderson, age 74, who passed away on July 27th in Rogers, Arkansas. Cheryl was born on Dec. 14, 1948 at the Naval Base in San Diego, CA as the second of three children to Morris and Pauline Hayes. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Russell Anderson of Tontitown; their son, Mark Anderson of Tontitown, his wife Lauren and their three children, Ty, Brooke, and Laura Kate Anderson; one stepson, Chris Anderson of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, his wife Julia and their son Graham Anderson; one brother Dr. Steve Hayes of Frankfort, KY and one sister Mary Wallace of Claremore, OK.
Cheryl was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown. She graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1966, worked for many years at Northwest Tobacco and Candy Company in Fayetteville, and retired as a school services secretary for the Rogers Public Schools. Cheryl loved to fish for crappie in the early morning with her husband, attend her grandkids baseball games and dance recitals, and vacation to the Oregon coast and Cocoa Beach Florida. She was a devoted wife and mother, and a gentle and humble servant of her Lord, Jesus Christ.
A funeral mass will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown on Monday August 7, 2023, at 10AM, followed by the Rite of Committal at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Tontitown.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the NWA Circle of Life Hospice.
