Chester Morris' Obituary
Chester Morris, 90, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, June 30, 2011.
He was born October 21, 1920 at Whitener, Arkansas, the son of Bruce and Clementine Hash Morris. He was preceded in death by his wives, Bernice Smith Morris and Helen Fultz Morris; a brother, James Morris and a sister Nadine Edmonson.
He was an employee of Shipley Baking, retiring after 28 years. He was a farmer and a member of Mayfield Bible Church. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by a daughter, Betsy Reitzel of Fayetteville; two step-daughters, Janice Bowerman and Jeannie Miller both of Mayfield; two step-sons, Larry Fultz and Mack Fultz, both of Mayfield and a brother, Oscar Morris of Mayfield.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at Crossroads Community Church in the Buckeye Community and burial will be in the Buckeye Cemetery, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Friday at Moore’s Chapel.
