Chester Joe Naramor, age 85, of Fayetteville passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, September 28, 2023, in Rogers, Arkansas after a long illness. Chester was a former minister, a missionary, and a retiree from the Univer Read Obituary
Chester and I sang in the choir together for many years. I was BLESSED to know him. He “walked the walk” for God. I send my condolences to the family.
Chester was my uncle, by marriage on my dad's side. One of the times I went to visit them was in 2001. When I was about an hour away from their house, I had a wreck. So, they had to come and get me. I was supposed to go visit my cousin in Texas, after a couple of days. He offered to let my borrow his truck to go see her. I didn't take him up on the offer, but was surprised he would trust me with his truck, just after I had a wreck. My car was totaled. He took me around to look for another one. He was amazed that I was able to get into a random vehicle and drive it with no problem. He said he didn't think the wreck was my fault, because I am a good driver.😅 (By the way, it was my fault) This picture was taken, the day before Christmas 2012. Chester is holding the book, I gave him.
To know him was to love him. The nicest man I ever knew. What a perfect partner for Doris. Always had a story. Sure he is resting in arms of Jesus, job well done, peace at last.
