I remember the first time I remember meeting Uncle Chris. I was young, preschool age, my Dad was stationed in VA, and my family was all excited because Uncle Chris was coming to visit. I remember thinking, '...who is this Uncle Chris', and '... what is an Uncle, really?' Well, the day finally came to pick him up from the airport. My family and I, all 6 of us, piled into our VW van and brought home Uncle Chris. By the end of the visit, I realized an Uncle is funny, kind, and always good for a hug— and I never wanted him to leave. I guess some things never change. Thank you Uncle Chris, for being the 'Bestest' uncle. I have truly loved and appreciated you since I first remember meeting you. Thank you, Jesus, for the joyful hope of seeing my Uncle Chris again. I love you both so very, very much. So many, many hugs, Laurie.
