Christie Kay Stockburger's Obituary
Christie Kay Stockburger, age 68, of Fayetteville passed away Monday November 17, 2025. She was born November 24, 1956 in Independence, Kansas to Howard and Anita Robbins Bell. Christie was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Blake Stockburger; brother, Rodney Bell and stepfather, Lee King. She was a special education teacher in the Bentonville Public Schools System for 45 years where she treated every student like they were her own children
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Eddie Stockburger; two sons, Keith Stockburger and his wife Jennifer of Springdale and Tim Stockburger and his wife Kaleigh of Fayetteville; three brothers, Monte King of Topeka, Kansas, Scott King of Independence, Kansas and Rocky Bell of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sisters in-law Tanja Pearson of Ft. Smith; five grandchildren, Christian Stockburger, Cain Stockburger, Michael Hackler, James Stockburger and Nora June Stockburger.
She was also the greatest aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday November 24, 2025 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:30 pm Tuesday at Moore’s Chapel with burial to follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
