Christine Crouch's Obituary
Christine Crouch, age 85, of Fayetteville died Friday July 15, 2001 at Circle of Life Hospice. She was born the only daughter on September 29, 1925 in Alexander City, Alabama to Morgan and Grace Thomas Allen. Christine was raised in Alabama, and became a beautician after high school. In 1955, Christine married Joe Crouch in Alexander City, Alabama and then eventually moved to Arkansas. Although her first priority was always her family, Christine had several hobbies including gardening, painting, and genealogy. She was also known for her genuine Southern hospitality! After her children were grown, she worked for Welcome Wagon, welcoming new residents to Fayetteville. Christine was a loving wife, mother, friend, and especially grandmother. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, and was part of Circle 5. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
Christine was preceded in death by a son, Joe Bennett Jr., and five brothers.
She is survived by her husband Joe Crouch; daughter, Linda Keatts of Dallas, TX; son, Allen Crouch and his wife Lisa of Fayetteville, AR; brother, Vernon Allen of Jacksonville, NC; six grandchildren, Austen Crouch, Dylan Crouch, Riley Crouch, Teresa Coggen, Connie Rutledge and Wade Box; and her very special niece, Amanda Allen.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Moore’s Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville with burial at Mount Comfort Cemetery.
