This man's early passing was devastating to we graduate students. He went too soon and we thankfully have all his books and classroom knowledge to play and pay forward, "What would Dr. Lucas do"?? I pray he met his maker for all the work he did to improve the lives of lall students both locally and abroad. God Bless his family. Please let me know if anything to do here in town to wrap up for y'all
Dr. Christopher Lucas was an amazing process instructor who helped guide us to our own interest , While raising numerous educational materials regarding those topics. Each week we discussed and taught one another well he had a checklist to be sure we didn't miss anything. God bless his family; Dr. Lucas called me his Angel and I kept up as much as possible but too quick and no news from college ugh
My condolences to the family at the loss of a wonderful colleague and professor. His sense of humor combined with his philosophical expertise enthralled his students and delighted his friends and colleagues. He will be missed.
Chris was my colleague at the University of Missouri when I first began my academic career. I learned a great deal from him in the short while we worked together. So sorry to hear of his death.
I met Chris in Springdale and we had some interesting conversations, sharing books and ideas. Condolences to the family.
Chris was a gifted scholar and wonderful faculty member. Very glad to have been part of the same college.
My condolences to the family. Chris was a colleague of mine at the University of Arkansas. I appreciated his professionalism and humanity. His treatment of colleagues and students was an example for all of us. He served as an expert on many doctoral committees on which I also served. He was a voice of calm in such situations that was greatly appreciated by some very nervous candidates. Yet also set high standards for the result. I will always have fond memories of Chris.
Sorry for your loss may you draw comfort from Gods word at Hosea 13:14. L Ohio
Dr. Lucas was a professor of mine when I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia as an undergraduate. I always held him in such high esteem and admired his professionalism and greatly appreciated his wisdom that helped me as I pursued my advanced degrees. Dr. Lucas shaped my life and I know he has made such a great contribution to our education society.
