Christopher Townsend, 32 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in Fayetteville. He was born November 7, 1979 in Fayetteville, AR to Clifford E. Townsend and Linda Morris.
He was an editor in broadcast journalism.
He is survived by his wife, Tonia Nicole (Edens) Townsend, of Fayetteville, AR; his parents, Clifford Townsend of Kansas City, MO; and mother, Linda Morris Ramage and step-father, Phillip Ramage, of Nashville, AR, twin sons; William Christopher Noyes and Taylor James Noyes of Huntsville, AR; grandparents, Justin and Ruby Morris, of Fayetteville, AR; grandparents, Gene and Barbara Townsend, of Harrison, AR; brother, Drew Gibbs and wife Katie Beth, and niece Isabella, from Jacksonville, AR; aunt, Sherry Williams, of Holiday Island, AR; uncle, Mike Morris, of Fayetteville, AR.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time on Monday, March 19th in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Reverend Jasper Hankins officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home & Crematory of Fayetteville.
